DOCUMENTATION
The purpose of this first assignment was to study the East Falls Bridge. There are three parts to this study of the bridge. The first part was to use the skill of hand drawing to create a two point perspective and a site plan, using graphite on drawing paper.
The second part of the first assignment was to take four photographs at many different angles and views. Photography skills were used to examine and show the entire bridge and/or details of the East Falls Bridge.
The last part of this assignment was to take a few photographs of the bridge and make a collage. The collage highlights the overall shape of the bridge. To create the college Photoshop skills were explored.
MANIPULATION
This assignment involved choosing four photographs of the East Falls Bridge that were previously taken. The photographs were opened in Photoshop, where the images were edited and manipulated. The purpose was to accentuate parts of the bridge. In Manipulation 1, the shape and curvature of the railing is the main focus due to the contrast between the shadow and the object.

COLLAGE
The purpose of this assignment was to explore how closely the photography, drawing, and digital worlds are related. Two photographs were taken and then a section of the images were drawn on Mylar. The drawn parts were scanned into the computer and using Photoshop were edited to create a digital version of the photographs and drawings together.
REPRESENTATION 1
This assignment included hand drafting a plan, a section, elevations, an axonometric, and a sectional axonometric of an object. These drawn images of a mini screwdriver were scanned into Illustrator, where dimensions and labels were added.
REPRESENTATION 2
This assignment used the same object as the previous assignment, a mini screwdriver. A plan, four elevations, and two sections were drawn in AutoCAD. From AutoCAD, the images were put into Illustrator, where dimensions, line weights, and labels were added.
VECTORS
This assignment was created by using the pen tool to create shapes and contour layers using Illustrator. This involved experimenting with fills of different colors, tones, and hues.
FREE SWIM
Using feedback given from the other assignments, this assignment was where one of the previous assignments could be redone and improved. The assignment redone was the self portrait using Illustrator.
CONSTRUCTS 1

This assignment involved taking photographs of my case study model. The model wasn't perfect, so using Photoshop, I touched up the images by straightening lines and adjusting the brightness to improve the overall look of the model.
CONSTRUCTS 2
For  this   assignment,  the goal was  to draw an exterior perspective, an  interior perspective, and to take a  photograph of the  Miller House  model  that was previously created. Then natural elements, textures, and people were added to enhance the images.

NARRATIVE 2
The same architect from Narrative 1 was used in this assignment. More in depth research was done of Steven Holl and his work. A monograph of a couple of his projects was created.
NARRATIVE 1
This assignment involved researching The Chapel of St. Ignatius by Steven Holl. Then a concept board was created to show the idea of light. The board included photographs, an elevation, a plan, a sketch, and a 250 word description of the concept.
REDUX
A visitor's center was created inspired by The Miller House and Garden. After designing this building, a sectional perspective was drawn. Textures, shadows, and entourage were used to enhance the image.
